Book Of Powers

          These are powers that most anyone may choose from regardless of race or subrace, organized in alphabetical order for your convenience.  How many you may choose from depends on what race you are so make sure to check how many your race gets on the Character Creation page of this website.  It is helpful to have this page and the Character Creation page opened in two different tabs so you can switch between them.  Just move your mouse to the Character Creation page, right click your mouse, and open in a new tab.  Otherwise, switching between the two will reset your application and you will have to fill it out from scratch.   We have 94 powers listed here for you to choose from. However, if you have an idea for a power that is not listed, please create a notecard labeled, POWER IDEA,(your sl name),(date).  EXAMPLE:  POWER IDEA,John Resident, 05/30/2020.  Please put your power name and then a brief example of what it does and what you would use it for before sending it to either Lunasmurf Cannned or Yunalesca Resident.

 

Traits (things that are always on, they do not need to be activated)

 

Disease Immunity - the ability to be immune to any virus and diseases.

Healing Factor - Ability to heal rapidly and with greater finality from any injury; the rate of recovery varies from character to character. Can sometimes result in the slowing of aging and immunity to illnesses and other defects.

Immortality - the ability to live past your years.

Superhuman Longevity - Ability to live longer than a normal human, up to two hundred years.

Superhuman Reflexes - the ability to enhance the reflexes of oneself to unattainable normal human levels

Superhuman Senses - the ability to have animal-like senses that function super accurate.

Superhuman Speed - the ability to move, think and react at speeds well beyond human potential.

Superhuman Strength - the ability to have bodies that are much stronger and tougher than humans.

Powers (these must ALL be activated to take effect)

Acid Generation - Ability to generate acid, can be manifested through touch or as a spray (e.g. acid spit, acid blood, etc.).

Aerokinesis - the ability to control wind.

Age Reduction - the ability to reduce the age of things or them self.

Agrokinesis - the ability to control plants.

Animal Manipulation - the ability to control or manipulate animals or shifters when the shifters are in animal form only, alphas are immune.  Can also speak to animals, including ONLY familiars that are actually animals and not sprits.

Animal Mimicry - Ability to take on the abilities of certain animals found in nature.

Animation - Ability to bring inanimate objects to life.

Astral Projection - the ability to create realistic illusions of yourself.

Astral Trapping - The ability to cause an astral projection to stay on the astral plane, usually in one specific place.

Atmokinesis - the ability to control the weather.

Audible Inundation - The power to overwhelm someone's mind with voices.

Aura Choking - The ability to strangle someone through their own aura.

Aura Manipulation - The ability to manipulate you own aura to touch another.

Blood Boiling - The ability to increase blood temperature to a boiling point.

Body Part Substitution - Ability to replace one of your limbs with another limb.

Bone Manipulation - the ability the control your bones as weapons or healing breaks.

Camouflage - the ability to magically change one’s physical appearance to match their surroundings.

Chronoskinesis - the ability to bring inanimate objects from your past or the past of another you touch to the present

Clairvoyance - Ability to relate details about the past condition of an object, being or location, usually by being in close contact with it.

Corrosive Touch - the ability to make whatever they touch rapidly age and rot (please get OOC permission before using on players)

Deflection - The ability to deflect the active powers of others.

Discord - The ability to create conflict between people.

Disintegration - the ability to break objects with their mind.

Dream Manipulation - The ability to project into people's dreams and manipulate them.

Echokinesis - the ability to manipulate sound

Echolocation - Ability to determine the location of objects in the environment by the use of reflected sound waves, whether generated by the character or ambient sound. Also known as sonar or radar sense.

Ecological Empathy - Ability to sense the overall well-being and conditions of one's immediate environment and natural setting stemming from a psychic sensitivity to nature

Elasticity - the ability to stretch their body.

Electrokinesis - the ability to control lightning.

Empathy - Ability to read or sense the emotions and/or control the emotions or feelings of others.

Energy Absorption - the ability to absorb energy to oneself.

Energy Control - the ability to control energy to their will.

Familiar Summoning - the ability to summon Spirit Animals to your side to aid you in whatever.

Fear Amplification - The ability to amplify another being's fear.

Flight - the ability to project oneself through the air without assistance.

Force Field Generation - the ability to create a force field around oneself or others.

Genetic Detection - the ability to sense the other races.

Geokinesis - the ability to control earth.

Heart Reading - the ability that reads people's thoughts from their hearts.

Heat Vision - Ability to burn objects and other individuals with one's gaze.

Hydrokinesis - the ability to control water.

Illusion Generation - the ability to create psychic illusions and fully control them.

Innate Capability - Ability to mimic the physical movements or actions by anyone. The physical movements must be performed right in front of them or displayed on a televised screen.

Invisibility - The ability to render the user unseen to the naked eye and/or other forms of perception.

Invulnerability - Ability to be immune to physical abilities/powers.

Knowledge Absorption - the ability to learn vast amounts of information.

Levitation - the ability to float.

Life Force Absorption - the ability to absorb the life force of another being through touch, rendering the victim unconscious, and stealing up to ten years of life to add to their own

Liquification - Ability to turn partially or completely into a liquid.

Luring - The ability to tempt and persuade someone to obey your will and do your bidding.

Magic Detection - the ability that allows user to perceive any source of magic whether in objects or person.

Matter Ingestion - Ability to consume any sort of matter without any ill effects on the user.

Mediumship - the ability to communicate with the spirit realm

Memory Manipulation - the ability to control another’s memory.

Mental Invulnerability - the ability to be immune to mental abilities/powers

Mental Sedation - the ability to put others to sleep.

Merging - Ability to temporarily merge two or more beings into a single being, which results in a completely new and stronger being.

Metamorphic - the ability to alter the formation of biological cells at will. Can duplicate any other being.

Necromancy - the ability to manipulate/animate dead beings

Night Vision - The ability to see clearly in total darkness.

Omni-Linguism - Ability to understand any form of language, a natural polyglot. This can be accomplished in various ways.

Pacify - the ability that allows the user to persuade others to retreat from battle by speaking into their hearts and souls.

Petrification - The ability to turn beings or objects into stone with one's gaze.

Phasing - the ability to pass through solid objects.

Pheromone Manipulation - Ability to generate and control pheromones, which may have various effects.

Photokinesis - the ability to control light.

Poison Generation - Ability to assault others with one or more varieties of toxins, with widely disparate effects.

Portal Creation - the ability to create a portal from one area to another.

Power Augmentation - Ability to enhance or weaken the powers of others.

Power Detection - Ability to detect the powers/abilities of other beings

Power Mimicry - The ability to permanently copy powers and abilities if they are used physically.  May only copy three at a time.  To get a new power, one of the other three must disappear.  Those that take this power cannot have any other power in this list. (keep a notecard with list of powers you have acquired, as well as the RP where you obtained them because should there be a problem, you will be required to show proof of these powers to an admin.)

Power Negation - the ability to nullify other powers, you can not have any other power.

Precognition - Ability it detect danger. It may be expressed in vague dreams while asleep, other times it can be clear and will appear at will.

Prehensile/Animated Hair - Ability to animate and lengthen one's hair.

Probability Manipulation - Ability to alter probability, causing unlikely things to happen, or likely things not to happen.

Projection - The ability to project a desire to reality.

Pyrokinesis - the ability to control fire.

Reactive Adaptation/Evolution - Ability to develop a resistance or immunity to whatever they were injured by or exposed to. This effect is temporary.

Reflect - the ability to absorb the magic used on them and push the ability back.

Self-Duplication - the ability to create copies of themselves.

Self-Regenerate - the ability to regrow limbs or heal wounds.

Self-Sustaining - the ability to never need food or water.

Shamanism - Used to heal and enlighten, using ceremonials which can include rhythmic music, mind altering drugs and mythic journeys into the subconscious.

Size Shifting - Ability to increase or decrease one's size.

Sonic Scream - Ability to generate vocal sounds of a higher amplitude than a normal human.

Spirit Realm Awareness - Ability to detect actions and events in the spirit realm

Sublimation - Ability to transform into a gaseous, mist, or fog-like form.

Substance Mimicry - Ability to transform into any substance touched.

Summoning - Ability to summon Angels, Demons, Fae if you have a contract with one, and Spirits of all supernatural beings.

Superhuman Tracking - Ability to track an individual or object through supernatural means; sometimes referred to as "pathfinding"

Technopathy - the ability to control technology.
Telekinesis - the ability to move objects with their mind.

Telepathic Cloak - the ability to shield their mind from mental magic.

Telepathy - the ability to communicate through one’s mind.

Teleporting - the ability to transport oneself instantly from one location to another.

Telescopic Vision - The ability to magnify and extend one's vision to various levels.

Umbrakinesis - The ability to control the dark/shadows.

Voice Manipulation - The ability to manipulate your own voice or copy another.

Wall Crawling - The ability to adhere to certain surfaces.
